Hi Joomla
I've been having a lot! of trouble with the URL-rewriting, and now I've spent so much time on it, that
I think I can ask the forum.
I am running a Joomla webpage (of course) on a LiteSpeed web server and almost everything works as intended.
However I want to remove the index.php-part from my urls. My webpage looks something like this:
https://mywebpage/index.php/about
When I enable the "Use URL rewriting" in global configurations under /administration, because I (of course) don't want to have index.php in the url, my rewriting doesn't work, even though I rename htaccess.txt to .htaccess. When I try to go to:
https://mywebpage/about it simple gives me an 404 error.
1. How can I fix this?
2. Why is index.php not removed by default??
Best regards
Sean
